Blogtober Tag – A Blogging Community Post for Fall
While I’m not actually participating in Blogtober this year, I saw this Blogtober Tag from a fellow blogger and thought it seemed like fun!
And I figured – why not! Even though I’m not doing Blogtober myself, I can still get in on the Blogtober festivities. (Is it just me, or am I starting to sound like that Smurf movie?)
So, below find my answers to some Autumn-themed questions along with some fellow bloggers I’m tagging!
The Blogtober Tag Questions:
What is your Favorite Scent
In general, I love really clean, fresh scents. Eucalyptus is probably the one I’d gravitate to most. For Fall specific scents, though, I’d probably say Sandalwood or Bonfire. Both of those give me warm, cozy Fall vibes.
Pumpkin Pie or Apple Pie
I’m actually not big into pie in general, but I’d pick Pumpkin over Apple. But don’t forget the cool whip! That’s a must.
What is one Autumn tradition of yours
Every September, I go to one of the local art fairs in St. Louis. I love art fairs anyway, but this particular one is the biggest. It doesn’t have to do with Fall or Halloween, but it takes place every year in Autumn.
What are you most excited about in Fall
The weather. I love Spring and Summer, but I’m also a big fan of jacket weather. Really any weather is cool as long as it’s not snowing and cold!
Plus, I love sitting outside by a nice fire pit and Fall is perfect for that.
Favorite Scary Movie
I’m not big into horror or traditionally scary movies, but I do love psychological thrillers.
With that in mind, I’d say my favorite scary movies is Get Out. It was so well-done and there was at least one jump scare so I think it counts!
I also really like Gone Girl, but I’m not sure that really qualifies as a “scary movie.”
Favorite Halloween Candy
Snickers! I especially love the almond snickers.
Favorite pumpkin spice flavored thing
Pumpkin spice cake is amazing. I also love pumpkin muffins. They make these pumpkin muffin-tops at Bread Co. (that’s St. Louis Bread Company for those who don’t live in STL) and they are my absolute favorite.
What is your warmest Fall memory
This is a hard one actually! I always think “best memory” questions are tough. But when my son was younger, I always loved taking him to the pumpkin patch. And Halloween – that’s arguably more fun as a mom.
One year, my son wanted to dress as Spiderman because it was his favorite superhero. He loved the costume so much that he wanted to wear it every weekend. That went on for about 3 months. So, I have a picture of him on Santa’s lap wearing a Spiderman costume. It’s my favorite and always makes me laugh.
What is your Favorite Must-Have for Autumn
I’m a jacket person, all the way. I absolutely LOVE a good comfy jacket.
I’m a bit picky, too. I like zippered jackets that are cozy rather than fashion-y. And I love one with a hood.
Last year I bought this grey cable-knit jacket and it’s become my all-time favorite cold-weather jacket for Autumn.

Love the tag.,right to the point and by the way Get Out movie is so darn good and scary, makes me think that it happened in real life too.
Yes I know! Definitely one of my favorite psychological thrillers.
I love blogger tags! They are a great way to get to know the blogger behind the blog. I feel the same way about fall weather, there’s nothing like wearing a warm sweater on a cool day.

This looks really fun! actually know a few people who don’t like pie, which is crazy to me because I love pie, maybe more than cake. Thanks for sharing this tag! Autumn is a fun season.
I’m much more of a cake person, so I totally get it!
I love a good blogging tag. I loved your answers and they were interesting to read. I would pick pumpkin pie over apple pie anytime anyday lol. Thank you for sharing x
Same – but I’d pick cookies or ice cream over both, lol.
