Fall in Love With The Latest Fall Fashion Trends

Every new season brings with it a few inevitable things. A change in weather, new movies and TV shows, and of course, new fashion and beauty trends. Autumn is no different. Aside from the basic closet staples you want to have on hand, there are also some hot looks to consider adding to your wardrobe. So, today, I’m sharing some of the most popular Fall fashion trends for 2022.

Fall Fashion Trends for 2022

When Autumn comes, most of us reach for our jeans, ankle boots, and long-sleeve dresses. And there’s nothing wrong with any of that! Those are all wardrobe staples for a reason!

But, if you want to really up your fashion game, you might want to consider some of the latest trends. No need to completely overhaul your closet, of course. Just add in a few key pieces and you’ll be good to go!

Not every single trend is going to be listed here, but rather, this is just a selection. So, without further ado, here are 7 of the latest trends I’m loving the most.

On-Trend Colors This Season

Typically, when we think of Autumn, we think of earthy colors like browns, yellows, reds, and greens. But this year, most of the color trends seem to be veering in an opposite direction.

Cobalt Blue

Blue is a big color trend right now, but more specifically, cobalt blue. It’s a bold, bright color that really pops. Plus, like navy, cobalt blue tends to look good on everyone.

The pandemic saw a huge rise in dopamine dressing, wearing bright colors to improve your mood, and cobalt blue definitely fits that trend!

Hot Pink

Yes, the Barbiecore trend is still a thing. Just look at all the recent red carpet looks! There’s been a ton of pink.

According to some, hot pink is universally flattering. I’m not entirely sold on that, after all, it is a really in-your-face color that takes some confidence to really pull off.

But you don’t need to go head-to-toe Barbie in order to incorporate this into your wardrobe. Add a pop of pink to your closet with a scarf, shoes, or a handbag if you’re not ready to rock a bright pink top.

Soft Pastels

Along with the bolder blues and pinks, soft pastel colors seem to be on trend this year. Pale pinks and various nude shades are especially popular. Softer fabrics, like chiffon and sheer overlays are also really big.

Alright, now that I’ve covered some of the hot colors, let’s get into some Fall fashion trends!

Cargo Pants

The 90’s are definitely back. There’s been a huge resurgence of the grungier era lately and it looks like Cargo pants are on the rise. Pared with a tight white tank top or crop top, it’s definitely a cute look to try.

Bomber Jackets

Jackets are always going to be a thing for Fall, but every year, the type of jacket seems to shift. This year, I’ve seen a lot of Leather and Bomber jackets. I do love when a trend is relatively simple!

Slip Dresses

Here’s another 90’s staple that I personally adore. Slip dresses are lightweight and hang softly rather than hugging your body. They’re usually silk or satin. Pair this with a jean jacket for a casual look or a bomber jacket for a bit more edge.

Oversized Button-Ups

Ah, the oversized button-up. The classic, I-just-stole-this-from-my-boyfriend-and-somehow-look-adorable top. Some have worn it completely buttoned up, but you can also leave it unbuttoned and throw it on over a tank top, which is a really cute look.

Again, there are other trends this year, but these are just the ones I found most interesting.
