Being a content creator – whether as a side hustle, a hobby, or a full-time job is a LOT of work. And with the holidays coming up, you might be wondering what to get the influencer in your life. Here are my suggestions for the best gifts for bloggers this year.

But first, if you missed my previous Holiday Gift Guide post, you can read that one here. In addition, a PDF version of all my Gift Guides is up in the Freebies Library.

Best Gifts for Bloggers

When you work as a content creator, the line between “work” and “personal life” tends to become fairly blurred. You don’t really clock out and leave your “job” at the office. It’s always with you – even when you want (or, in many cases need) to take a break, you’re probably thinking about various content creation ideas.

Really, any creative endeavor is like that in my opinion. Artists, writers, podcasters – if you do something that requires creative thinking, you never really turn off your mind. It’s worthwhile, then, to consider gifting your creative loved one with something that will help them in all aspects of their creating life.

So, with that said, here are the best gifts for bloggers, entrepreneurs, writers, and all other creatives or those working from home.

1. Something to Feed Their Caffeine Addiction

This might be a bit stereotypical, and sure, not all content creators like coffee. But, most of them probably do. Hell, most functioning adults like coffee.

So, for anyone in your life who works from home or stays up way too late trying to write, consider getting them something caffeine-related.

Some great coffee gifts for bloggers? Mugs and assorted coffee flavors, of course.  Coffee warmers, are also an amazing idea. Because when you take longer than you thought you would to type up that blog post, sometimes your coffee gets cold.

2. Something Educational or Blogging Specific

Whether you’re a blogger, a writer, a social media influencer – there’s always more to learn. And there are so many ways that you, as a friend, can help them this year!

Educational gifts can be hit or miss depending on the recipient, but I’d bet a great deal of bloggers would love to get any of these gift ideas. Along with a book about writing or blogging, you could also consider getting them something like a Media Kit template or eBook template.

You can also help them step up their blogging game with a premium theme or a self-hosting website plan. Personally, I use Dreamhost and I’ve been incredibly happy with them so far. (Seriously, their customer service is next level.)

3. Something to Help Them with their Work

Just like with the previous Educational Gifts for Bloggers, content creators are always trying to improve their skills and sometimes that requires extra tools and gadgets.

Ring lights and flat lay props are great to help with photos. And along with that, anything they can use to help stay organized is going to be a HUGE help.

Recently, I bought myself a laptop tote bag with a USB charger so I can bring my computer wherever I go and it’s quickly become one of my favorite things.

4. Something to Help Them Stay Inspired

These gifts are perfect for any sort of creative – whether it’s a blogger, a writer, a jewelry maker – you name it!

While I can’t speak for the jewelry maker, I can tell you that as writer, sometimes the ideas just flow. Other days, however, it’s like my creative juices just aren’t working. Gifts to help spark (or keep) inspiration are always a good idea.

When I do get stuck, I find that the best way to help is to step away and do something different, like reading or coloring.

5. Something for Anyone Who Works from Home

If you’re working from home (whether as a blogger or because of the pandemic), there are a lot of things you can get to make your work-life easier.

Anything to improve your workspace is going to be a good gift. That could include something practical, like a desk organizer, as well something for ambiance and comfort – like a cozy throw, a humidifier, and essential oils.

Also, for those who spend long-periods of time sitting on a computer, it can really be damaging to your body. Blue light glasses, ergonomic chairs, or a therapy lamp for the winter all make great gifts for bloggers and writers.

Best Gifts for Bloggers You Don’t Know IRL

Maybe it’s a blogger whose work you regularly read. Or, if you’re a fellow creator, it might be someone you support and follow in the Blogging Community.

As my Twitter pals know, your blogging friends do genuinely feel like friends – even if you’ve never met them in real life.

If you want to send some holiday love to your favorite creator, there are tons of ways to do that. Of course, you can always buy their products – a lot of creators have books, templates, or handmade products available on places like Etsy or Payhip.

Also, most bloggers utilize affiliate links, so you can support them by using their links for your purchase. There’s no extra cost to you but it’ll give them some extra coffee money.

Finally, if you want to show love but don’t want to spend anything, read their work! Read their posts, share them with your friends and family, follow them on social media. All of that is free and, again, it’s helpful to creators.

I admit when I first clicked on the link, I thought it was going to be like every other gift guide and have a million different pictures of products. but I like how you arranged them into categories. and they are all things that I, as a blogger, would not mind getting this holiday season.
